One of the key contradictions is the juxtaposition of traditional values and modern influences. The Urdu community in Saudi Arabia often grapples with the tension between preserving their cultural heritage and embracing the Western influence that is prevalent in the country. This struggle between tradition and modernity can create a sense of identity crisis for many community members. Another contradiction lies in the conflicting attitudes towards race within Saudi Arabian society. While Saudis pride themselves on being an inclusive and diverse society, there are instances where racial discrimination and prejudice against the Urdu community can be observed. This discrepancy between the professed values of acceptance and the reality of discrimination can create a sense of disillusionment among Urdu individuals living in the country. Despite these contradictions, the Urdu community in Saudi Arabia continues to thrive and contribute positively to the country. From excelling in various professional fields to actively participating in cultural events and festivals, members of the community have made their mark on Saudi Arabian society. It is crucial for Saudi Arabia to address these contradictions and work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable society for all its residents, regardless of their race or cultural background. By fostering a sense of unity and respect among different communities, Saudi Arabia can truly harness the diversity and talent that the Urdu community and other ethnic groups bring to the country.
